Charles II joined Yorkshire armchair in oak with carved decoration. The top rail with “S” scrolls, carved tulips and scrolling ears. The “two” back panels, one with floral scrolls and larger panel radiating stylised tulips. The uprights with gauge carving, downswept arms and seat with chip carved sides. The arms and front legs with turned baluster design and tied by surround stretchers. Punch decorated throughout.
